Expanding Opportunities in Subsurface Engineering, Global Energy Support, and Low Carbon Projects

OPC has been awarded a number of new contracts in the United States as a result of the ongoing business development activities of the OPC Houston office. Here is a summary of the latest contracts and news from the region.

Worldwide Supply of Consultants – International Energy Company

OPC has been awarded a 3 year contract with an International Energy Company for the supply of subsurface engineers and geoscientists. The agreement will be utilised to support the client in resourcing contractors on projects globally, which several operators are now struggling with.

Consulting Services Agreement – Global Energy Company

OPC has been awarded a 3 year contract to support a global energy company through subsurface projects and studies, supply of contractors, and training services. This agreement will be utilised to support the client in the USA, Guyana, and Suriname.

Master Services Agreement – Low Carbon Projects

OPC has grown and developed its carbon capture and storage (CCS) experience and expertise over the last 9 years, with its first CCS project on the Endurance structure, which is now being developed by the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) (Equinor and BP). The award of this new MSA enables OPC to support CO2 sequestration projects across North America.

There is a continued demand for projects and services from North America, and we have recently completed a number of projects, including a CO2 storage project in the GoM and supporting Exploration in Guyana.
